The Shankly Hotel Recruitment Day Hailed a Success

The Shankly Hotel will celebrate the life of the late, great football manager, Bill Shankly. Located on Victoria Street in Liverpool, The Shankly Hotel will open its doors for guests in August 2015.

Our guests are at the heart of the hotel, which is why we are passionate about training and hiring a passionate, hard working team to provide an outstanding service. We have therefore teamed up with the City of Liverpool College to encourage motivated students to apply to our Liverpool hotel, ensuring they receive exceptional experience within the hospitality sector.

The Shankly Hotel

We recently held an open day at our sister hotel, 30 James Street – Home of the Titanic, with the aim of finding the best candidates for the wide variety of roles available at The Shankly Hotel. We were overwhelmed by the number of attendants at the open day, with people of all ages and experiences expressing an interest to join the team.

David Hughes, Managing Director at Signature Living, commented: “We set ourselves the goal of finding 100 apprentices in 100 days, ready for the launch of the hotel. We are looking for the best people to fill all the vacant roles, from chefs to bar staff, to housekeepers and maintenances, and many of them will come from within the city and locals areas, and be aged between 16-24.”

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who attended our open day, and we were very impressed with the level of talent and potential at the event.
