The Shankly Hotel recently celebrated our one year anniversary – and what a 12 months we’ve had! Not only did we receive the Simply the Guest Award from Laterooms.com, but we were also awarded Best Newcomer at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards. But that’s not the end of the big news: this week we were named as the world’s best football themed hotel by the Mirror.
The whole team at The Shankly Hotel are honoured to have received, or been nominated for, such fantastic awards over the past year, which are a testament to our employees’ passion and hard work.
Our team strive every day to provide our guests with a fantastic experience, and we could not be more thankful for all the support we have received over the last 12 months.
In addition to providing a luxurious hotel for our guests to enjoy at an affordable price, we also regularly welcome guests and the public into the onsite The Bastion Bar & Restaurant, which offers delicious food, a wide drink selection and Bill Shankly memorabilia, which was kindly donated by Bill Shankly’s family.
Our aim is to create a football-inspired hotel that not only caters to sporting fans, but provides our guests with a sophisticated, comfortable and flexible experience in Liverpool city centre.
