Our new summer menu offers diners the perfect choice of dishes that are ideal for enjoying on a warm evening in Liverpool.
To begin, you can choose from our tasty soup of the day, served with a warm crusty roll and Lancashire butter. Or perhaps you’d prefer the wild mushroom hache with homemade brioche, scorched cauliflower, duck egg yolk and black truffle oil.

Each and every one of our yummy starters is cooked, presented and served to perfection by our talented team of chefs and kitchen staff. We pride ourselves on crafting unique dishes that our guests love enough to return to the restaurant time and time again.
After you’ve enjoyed one of the magnificent starters, it’s time to move on to the main event. You can choose a dish from our grill section which features a selection of cuts chosen by Eddie McCormack, The Bastions head chef. From beef rump steak, to grass-fed sirloin, Tamworth pork rib-eye and lamb Barnsley chop, this part of the menu is perfect for the carnivores amongst you.
If none of those dishes take your fancy, why not try our perfectly cooked cod loin, coated with a herb crust, the delicate fish is served with smoked Polish sausage, clam & white bean cassoulet and mouthwatering tempura cod cheek.

For all of you veggies out there, we have the perfect dish that you’re sure to love. Tuck into our curried parsnip pancakes, with grilled paneer, garlic creamed spinach, sticky piccolo parsnips and curry oil. You’ll definitely be satisfied by this unique and flavoursome main.
Still not inspired? We also offer a divine 14 hour ox cheek that has been cooked to perfection. Beautifully tender, this gorgeous meat is served with caramelised shallot mash, baby beets and fabulous creamed & crispy carrots. A vibrant main course, it is sure to impress with it’s strong flavours, outstanding presentation and unique taste combinations.

It’s time to move on to the best course of all, the delectable dessert! Our new summer menu offers a range of sweet treats that are sure to put a smile on your face.
If you’re a bit of a choco-holic, tuck into our dark chocolate fondant, served with chocolate espresso ice cream and honeycomb, or perhaps the enticing white chocolate mousse, with shortbread, caramelised white chocolate panna cotta, lemon, blueberry and decorated with beautiful purple flowers.

We also offer a yummy salted caramel tart with pistachio ice cream and a chocolate tuille, plus the all time classic dessert, the sticky toffee pudding with candied dates and vanilla ice cream.
However, if you prefer to end your meal on a savoury note, go for the board of selected cheeses from Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales. This wonderful board is accompanied with apple and raisin chutney, grapes and crackers.
