The Hotel offers a wide range of unique rooms and different types of baths/plunge pools including The Shankly’s two biggest pool rooms, The Laurent Perrier suite and The Flamingo room. Laurent Perrier Suite
Voted the best hotel room in the northwest and inspired by the iconic champagne, the Laurent Perrier suite oozes indulgence and style. The extravagant suite boasts a large roman style bath swimming pool, running elegantly down the middle of the room, and two floors. Paired with luxurious, golden walls, a spectacular bar area and individual pods for each couple, this room really is a winner!
As you enter the double front doors of the LP suite you will be welcomed to a plush sofa area and the all-important bar with a large fridge keeping the bubbly cold and the party going.
An oasis of fun and indulgence
A large, wooden staircase takes up the back of the room, leading to the second floor with a large mezzanine level. The second level accommodates more luxurious pods and a separate seating area overlooking the bath. Wooden paneling encompasses the whole suite from top to bottom, it’s giving sophisticated.
But for all that, the room is magnificently upstaged by the showstopping 25-foot roman style plunge pool. As you enter the LP suite, your eyes are immediately drawn to the breathtaking sight of a private pool with sparkling turquoise water stretched out before you. The majority of the downstairs area is dominated by the big tub, it runs across the whole length of the suite and features glamourous copper taps.
The Laurent Perrier suite accommodates a maximum of 24 guests, and each couple has their own little pod equipped with their own private toilet, waterfall shower, ceiling-mounted TV, and large, luxurious double bed. Each pod has a thick curtain to give extra privacy and a mounted mirror to help you get ready for that big night out (or in).
Flamingo Suite
Fancy adding Miami to your summer plans but don’t want the price tag? Step into The Shankly’s most Instagramable room, The Flamingo Suite. Inspired by the bright lights and summer buzz of Miami, the Flamingo Suite offers an exclusive hotel stay with all the extras thrown in.
Make your way to the first floor and stroll down The Flamingo’s private and flamboyant hallway; a small snippet of what’s to come. Open the large yellow door to a vibrant room tailored for fun-loving stays for fun-loving guests.
The Flamingo suite holds a maximum of 14 guests, absolutely perfect for birthdays, hens, stag parties and even children’s birthdays. This room is ideal for all the family, no matter the age or occasion.
Threes specially made, double bed-bunks offer a uniquely intimate experience that feels cosy but doesn’t compromise on the openness and space of the whole room. This room maximizes space and fun! Each bunk bed has its own make-up station and a large mirror; ready to get dolled up for the big night ahead. The blush pink bathroom holds powerful twin waterfall showers and two separate toilet cubicles. A staircase to the side of the room leads to a cosy snug area with a large double bed and cosy mood lighting.
The vibrant ambience, decorated with tasteful tropical accents and ambient lighting, creates an immersive stay that transports you to a world of carefree luxury and a one-of-a-kind weekend break.
The centrepiece of this room is the large, 10 berth roman style bath for that ultimate pool party WOW factor. This plunge pool is deep enough for your guests to chill and sip some prosecco in the delightfully hot water- all while being right in the middle of Liverpool city centre!
