Sound City is back and bigger than ever in the city this year, with some big local and national names taking to various stages in the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool in May. Kicking off the festival calendar in style with 20 venues playing host to more than 100 artists and acts, you’re not going to want to miss this.

From intimate venues to mind-blowing sets, there’s something for everyone when Sound City comes to town.

Gin festivals are all the rage right now and we couldn’t be happier about it! In Liverpool in May, Absolutely Fabulous Gin Festival will return to Riversdale Police Club in Aigburth for a two day extravaganza in early May.

Featuring some of the best gins in the world right now and plenty of perfectly paired Fever Tree tonics, there’s no gin festival quite like this one. There’s even live soul and Motown entertainment in the marquee and amazing views across the water.

The theme of the festival is ‘All White’, so make sure you dress for the occasion!

Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon & Half Marathon

Marathons don’t have to be a long slog of pain and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon is the best way to keep your spirits up while you walk, jog or run your way round the route.

The Bordeaux Wine Festival

One of the most famous wine festivals in the world is making its debut in Liverpool in May this year. The Bordeaux Wine Festival is the leading European wine event and is now in its eleventh year as a biennial festival.

Every year, thousands of wine lovers flock to Bordeaux’s riverfront, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, much like Liverpool’s equally famous waterfront.
